Scottie Scheffler $13,300

Scottie is by far the best golfer on the planet. He’s won three of his last four tournaments and came 2nd in the other one. Over the last 24 rounds he’s 1st on approach, 1st in opportunities gained, 1st in par 5 scoring and 2nd around the green.
With no $5k range the price is prohibitive but I think there’s some value that we can find down low. The price may also keep his ownership in check. If he’s somewhere between 20-25% I’ll likely be double the field. If by Wednesday night he’s looking more like up over 30% I may reel it back a bit.
Patrick Cantlay $10,200
DK Ownership 15%
I like Cantlay for my non Scottie lineups.
Cantlay has played well at Harbour Town over the last five years. He’s played the tournament six times. He’s finished in the top-3 four times while missing the cut once and also had another 7th place finish.
He’s gained an average of 6.8 strokes tee to green in his six appearances at the Heritage. He’s gained the most total strokes here over the last five years despite a missed cut in 2021 and not playing in 2020.
He’s had a rough 2024 so far but had a good showing at the Masters finishing 22nd in place. He’s 13th on par five scoring and 18th in opportunities gained over the last 24 rounds.
Shane Lowry $8,500
DK Ownership 22%
Lowry had a nice stretch leading up to the Masters. He came 4th at the Cognizant, 3rd at the API and 19th at the PLAYERS. He averaged 5.4 strokes on approach over that span.
Over the last 24 rounds he’s 3rd in opportunities gained, 5th in par five scoring, 6th in approach and 9th in good drives gained.
Lowry came 67th last year and missed the cut at the Heritage in 2020 bit has otherwise played very well at Harbour Town. In 2022 he came 3rd, 9th in 2021 and 3rd in 2019. Despite not being the best putter, he’s gained three or more strokes putting three times on these greens.
Lucas Glover $6,800
DK Ownership 17%
Glover has been playing well recently. He just finished 20th at the Masters. He previously came 25th at the Valero where he gained 6.6 strokes on approach. Then had an 11th place finish at the Valspar the week prior.
He rates out well statistically for Harbour Town. Over the last 24 rounds he’s 4th in strokes gained around the green, 8th on approach, 8th in good drives gained, 9th in opportunities gained and 9th from 150-175 yards.

Cam Young $8,700
Cam looks like he’ll be popular after another strong performance at a Major. I’m not crazy about him here though. Sure he finished 3rd here in 2022 but that was after missing the cut at the Masters. He was actually in contention for a stretch this year and I could see a bit of a hangover. He came 7th in last year’s Masters and then came 51st at the Heritage. The around the green game is a concern considering the small greens. He can also get a little wild off the tee sometimes which you absolutely cannot do at Harbour Town. He’s only 41st in a condensed field in fairways gained and that number gets even worse(62nd) on courses 7200 yards or less.
