My Core Four

Sam Burns $10,900
DK Ownership 30%

It’s really hard to not be in on Burns here. He came 6th last year and obviously won back to back in 2022 and 2021. He’s gained strokes putting in all five appearances. He gained 10.5 strokes in 2018 and 9.1 strokes putting in his win in 2021.

Had a great Saturday at the PLAYERS, Sunday was rough shooting 76. He lost strokes putting but played fairly well tee to green.

Over the last 24 rounds he’s 2nd in par five scoring and 6th in bogey avoidance.

Nick Taylor $9,100
DK Ownership 20%

Taylor has been playing very well so far this year. He won the Waste Management back in February. He also finished 12th at the Arnold Palmer and 26th last week.

He actually played great golf last week outside of shooting 76 on Saturday. He shot four over on his opening nine holes with two bogeys and a double. He went on to shoot even par on the back nine.

Taylor has gained strokes on approach in seven straight tournaments. Over the last 24 rounds he’s 3rd in that category, he’s 13th in bogey avoidance and 24th from 175-200 yards.

Mav McNealy $8,100
DK Ownership 14%

Mav has been playing very well this year. He’s only missed one cut in eight tournaments this year. Most recently he finished 9th at the PLAYERS, 41st at the Cognizant, 13th in Mexico and 6th at the Waste Management.

He’s gained strokes off the tee in each if those last four tournaments and is obviously a wizard around the greens.

He’s 1st around the green, 8th in bogey avoidance and 9th in par three scoring over the last 24 rounds.

Andrew Novak $6,700
DK Ownership 12%

I’m willing to forgive Novak for last week. It was rough on a volatile course with a ton of water.

He previously had three straight top ten finishes coming in. He gained over five strokes on approach in two of those three tournaments.

Novak is 7th in strokes gained approach from 200+ yards, he’s 11th around the green and top 20 on par threes from 200-225 yards over the last 24 rounds.

DK Ownership by Tier

$10k & up- Xander Schauffele 33%
$9k- Brian Harmon 25%
$8k- Doug Ghim 25%
$7k- Sam Ryder 15%
$6k- Joel Dahmen 13%
$5k- Nobody near 5%

Fades

Christian Bezuidenhout $8,800

CBez is at an elevated price and will be highly owned. I’m already skipping a lot of this range and with the projected ownership I’ll skip CBez as well. He has good finishes this year but has been bad off the tee losing strokes in 11 of his last twelve tournaments. Maybe going less than driver can help but I’m willing to go elsewhere.
